The Christian Education Committee at Good Shepherd/El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church is responsible for planning and overseeing the congregation’s educational ministries for all ages, ensuring they align with ELCA teachings and support lifelong faith formation. This includes organizing baptismal preparation classes, confirmation and first communion instruction, book clubs, Bible studies, and other faith formation courses and trainings. In collaboration with the Pastor and other ministry leaders, the committee works to provide meaningful and accessible learning opportunities that nurture spiritual growth and Christian discipleship across the congregation. The committee reports regularly to the Congregation Council through a designated liaison.
