The Building Committee at Good Shepherd/El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church ensures that the church’s physical property is well-maintained, safe, and aligned with its mission of worship, hospitality, and community outreach. In keeping with ELCA guidelines, this committee functions in both advisory and operational roles to the Congregation Council. It recommends repairs and improvements, oversees maintenance and inspections, ensures compliance with safety regulations and codes, and stewards the church building and grounds as sacred and welcoming spaces that support the ministries of the congregation.This committee reports to the Congregational Council through a designated liaison.
