Office Administrator

Sarah Maria L. is the Church Office Administrator at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, where she plays a vital role in supporting the church community. Bilingual in English and Spanish, Sarah also serves as a Notary in the State of New Jersey. Her commitment to service extends beyond her professional role, as she regularly volunteers at the church and various associations in the area.

Born in Sleepy Hollow, NY, a small hamlet rich in historical significance and multicultural essence, Sarah developed a passion for history from an early age. Her education was shaped by both Catholic and public schools, providing her with a unique perspective that bridges secular and Christian life.

At the age of 15, during a transformative summer camp experience, Sarah received the Holy Spirit, which has since been a guiding force in her life. Despite facing challenges and moments of rebellion, she found strength and reassurance in her faith, leading her back to God during difficult times.

Currently, Sarah is pursuing her degree in Christian Leadership and Business Management, with hopes of further serving her community. Her interests include reading, history, animals, space, and, most importantly, her family which includes a husband , five daughters and one granddaughter. Sarah cherishes her church community and has a deep love for New York City and her faith in God.

As she continues her journey, Sarah holds on to her favorite Bible verse: “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble” (Psalm 46:1 NLT).
