The Worship and Music Ministry at Good Shepherd/El Buen Pastor Lutheran Church supports the congregation’s spiritual life by ensuring worship services are conducted regularly and in accordance with the liturgical practices of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA). This ministry works closely with the pastor and music staff to provide meaningful, inclusive, and well-prepared worship. It oversees the recruitment and training of competent lay worship leaders, the care and provision of hymnals and devotional materials, and the maintenance of paraments, vestments, and musical instruments. The ministry also supervises the Director of Music Ministries and supports the choir’s service to the congregation. In consultation with pastoral and musical leadership, it ensures appropriate music resources are available for worship. This committee reports to the Congregational Council through a designated liaison.
